Band Cutters - NEW & IMPROVED

New! These cutters are replacing the ones that we used to sell. They are smaller, lighter, sharper, and stronger than the previous model. These are made from carbon steel, which is much stronger and less breakage-prone than stainless steel.

These heavy-duty band cutters cut through aluminum bands like butter! It is a good idea to keep these on-hand in case of an emergency, or if you simply want to remove a bird's band. These can be used on all aluminum bands we sell other than the extra-tall ones for waterfowl. 

In order to use, have 1 or 2 people holding the bird and its foot so that it does not move. Then, another person holds the band firmly in one hand and cuts the band twice, on opposite sides so that it falls off.
