SERINUS Wild Birds Handfeeding
It is formulated for the hand-rearing chicks of species belonging to the fringillidae family (goldfinches, greenfinches, linnets, finches…).
Simplifies the hand-rearing and ensures excellent growth of the chicks.
Serinus formulas are complete food. Birds get all the nutrients they need to develop with optimal health, excellent vigor and unbeatable plumage quality.
To prepare the hand-feeding formula, mix the product with lukewarm water at a concentration of 20-25% (texture similar to a shaken yogurt). During the first day of life and especially in the first feeding, it is advisable to give it a little more diluted. It is important to discard the leftover formula after each feeding, it should not be reused in the following feedings.
The right amount of formula to feed each chick depends on its crop capacity and its demand behavior. Feed small amounts of formula repeatedly in the mouth until the chicks are satiated and stop asking for it.
During the first days of life, we recommend feeding Passerine Crop Milk.
Store in a cool, dry place (it is possible to freeze the hermetically packed product, but it is not advisable to keep it in the refrigerator once opened).
